Aging Healthcare Service Design & UX Design
Based on a medical appointment portal
Project Overview
This research project explores the current situation and needs of Chinese seniors using smartphones for medical appointments from the perspective of age-appropriate digital healthcare services. Combining aging healthcare and digital technology, a new service process and accompanying portal for Chinese seniors was designed to improve the medical appointment experience for older Chinese patients to some extent.
Project Background
As Chinese society continues to age, and health is a prerequisite for older people to live a peaceful lifestyle in their old age, age-appropriate healthcare is a key focus in dealing with aging issues. Social progress has led to a gradual increase in health awareness among older Chinese people, while new technology has made healthcare more convenient.
