This is a proposed re-brand for a small diner in Boston. I re-designed the interior, menu, and stationary.
The diner serves home cooked, simple, comfort food. To give a home-kitchen feel to the diner I developed a limited palate accented by cool-blues. My monochromatic illustrations were inspired by the illustrations of Robert McCloskey. His illustrations and books contain the same focus on food, the kitchen and New England charm that I wanted to highlight in this design system.
I hand drew the illustrations that serve as a pattern for the place-mats and represent the food on the menu. The menu is created in Indesign and has a easy to handle tall format.
