As part of a contest held by the International Federation of Housing & Planning (IFHP), the Santa Tereza Hill in Porto Alegre, Brazil was chosen as the adequate place for an architectonic intervention. The actual hill harbors a number of broadcasting stations and irregular settlements bordering on favela status, in spite of the valued location and fortunate beachfront view.
he complete project contains a series of sport facilities and a sports museum (intended for the 2016 Summer Olympics), a residential complex, a public plaza, outdoor business premises and a Media Center.
