The aesthetics of national culture and traditional Slavic costume exists in modern reality in the form of rethinking and renewal. Mankind is always interested in the past as something sacred. This interest creates a trend for products, music, events and activities in which we feel the atmosphere flowing from the depths. The relevance of restoring and rethinking traditions for the sake of new ideas exists due to the desire of people to make a mental connection with their ancestors, with their own origins.
Also in the concept of the collection lies the idea of mythologization. A person receives the first ideas about the culture of past years in childhood - from folk tales. The image of Slavic fairy-tale characters and mythical creatures has been preserved in the imagination of a person from an early age, then these images are fixed thanks to works of art, such as paintings by Vasnetsov and Vrubel, illustrations by Bilibin. This project contains a collective image built on common associations of Slavic fairy tale characters.
The concept of this collection is based on a nostalgic longing for a folk tale, conveying a reverent perception of traditions by a person as something of the same blood, native. The concept of the project reflects the aesthetic vision of the magical meaning that was in many things in folk culture. Magic also occupies a special place in folklore. In traditional culture, beliefs and ritualism were of great importance, a person treated nature as a mystical divine power. Everything that happened was given a magical meaning, hence the belief in various mythical creatures, which are mentioned in the Slavic epic, folk songs, and legends.
