Vincent Van Gogh was obsessed with yellow in his paintings. The use of yellow was influenced by his intake of absinthe. Van Gogh’s vision differed from others thus resulting in his own interpretation on life, where us the audience would see things differently. This is presented through the poster where a photo filter has been added to counteract Van Gogh’s colour blindness in his painting, Starry Night. This represents what he saw and what actually was depicted.
