WEST COUNTRY PRINT
To raise funds for Bath Spa's BA show we opened a pop-up print shop in partnership with other courses selling one of a kind artworks themed on the West Country.
As someone who grew up in the Somerset countryside I wanted to create a print that I could see hanging in my friend's and family's homes. My goal was to capture the atmosphere of rustic towns and colourful countryside scenes and found inspiration in the local pubs.
My design is a mix of lino-cut old cider bottles with a contemporary screen print of Thatchers sub-brands.
