Learning Outcomes: Appreciate marketing as a cultural belief system and recognised the influence on marketing from both artistic and scientific traditions. Critically evaluated the current practical applications of marketing in organisations and the subsequent impact on wider society. Developed a critical appreciation of alternative marketing philosophies to inform contemporary practice. Negotiate complex marketing problems, identifying original solutions that meet the desired needs of business as well as socio-cultural imperatives.
