So I entered a 24 hour challenge, the organizer was a musical artist who challenged their listeners to make an art piece about one of their songs, I chose the song "Kittens".

The character the artist uses looked a bit like a splatoon character so I searched sketchfab for some female splatoon characters I could use in blender to get a rough pose/ referance for the piece. To my surprise, the model was actually pretty good and I ended up using it as a darken and lighten overlay for the final product. 

I continued this theme of drawing and overlaying images on top of it for the texture, Im actually very surprised at how well it worked for the style I was going for. (which was a sort of glitch art, y2k, aero fruitinger, drawn sort of style)
