Square Kufic is a form of Arabic writing that has originated in the 12th century. It was originally created in Iranian architecture with bricks and tiles, therefore making it look pixelated. Legibility isn't a priority in this script. This script is the perfect way to turn words and letters into composition 

Here is a composition solely made out of the letters "ف" and "ك".  

One can also write full sentences in kufic writing such as "كل الاشياء بتعيش لتنتهي بلحن جديد" portrayed above. 

Ornamental patterns can be made as well 

These patterns can be used in various ways, from branding assets to murals.
