Arco de la Vega is the most important of the three arches in the city walls of Santa María del Campo, in the province of Burgos. This is one of the many fortifications that can be found in Castilla y Leon. The very name of Castilla y Leon and its official coat of arms contain castles, being a very typical and particular element of the area. 

We focus on the most noble and representative part of the defence castles, the almena.

An almena is the solid upright section of a battlement in medieval architecture or fortifications. This unique element of the medieval fortifications will be our point of connection with the region and its wine. This is a wine that gathers all the aromas of the region, therefore we do not limit ourselves to one battlement, but we use many on them and from various castles as a symbol of the richness of the territory in regards to history, culture, gastronomy and its aromas.
