Progression Beatboards

in the first scene I wanted to establish the palette and how I was going to play with light. The designer's line was based on incorporating glasswork into clothing, so incorporating glass was a design constraint for me. Using glass gave me the opportunity to play heavily with light, which became a large part of my production.
This beatboard established the urban dreamscape at its busiest. Constrained movement was something that I wanted to play with, as glass is solid, but movement can be seen through it.
Finally, the beat board shows the power of the inner struggle the character contends with. Confronted with violence, the character rejects it, but finds that she herself has responded violently. The glass shards had to be omitted from the final version, due to time constraints.
