Project: On Typography
Project Type: University Assignment (GDES30003)
Year: 2023

This brief required us to engage with historical writings on typography and to use these as the starting point of our design outcomes. Each text was typeset twice, using the ideas of different historical type designers. The first step of this brief was to identify the key propositions of each text and analyse the author's ideas on how typography should function. The first design adheres to the author's ideas, and the second challenges them.
