Illustrated Children's Book
In this project, I had the delightful opportunity to create an illustrated children's book.  I chose to work on "The Handsomest Drowned Man in the World" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I had a blast crafting illustrations for this story; its uniqueness made the creative process truly enjoyable!

Check out some of my favourite pages that I brought to life for this story!

For this children's book, I opted for the OpenDyslexic font as the primary body text. It not only adds a playful touch but also serves a crucial purpose – making the story accessible and enjoyable for all, including children who may not have been diagnosed with dyslexia.
This short story by Gabriel García Márquez tells the tale of the body of a man discovered on the beach of a small coastal village. The man is extremely tall and remarkably handsome. Ultimately, the villagers fall in love with him, treating him with care. They adopted him into their family before eventually returning his body to the sea. This experience changes the lives of the villages.

Gabriel García Márquez is best known for his novels and short stories, as well as his influence on the advancement of magical realism in literature.
