Overview
Merlot it is a beauty salon and nail bar for people who want to have a relaxing time in a comfortable place with professionals that will give them the best results. Merlot is a combination of an amazing space and high quality services, all in one.
Goals
- Create a brand identity that evoke elegance
- Make it durable through time and also flexible
- Promote the brand awareness
Problem = Solution
For this brand, I had a base to work on. This client had in mind a vision: she wanted to create a space where the wine was the center, a beauty salon so comfortable where people just wanted to relax and share drinks. My client also had a name: Merlot, as the wine. Also, she knew that she wanted to evoke elegance and comfort.
Looking in perspective, all of that she wanted and needed for her brand had words on my mind: elegance = simplicity. For Merlot, I wanted to create a brand that reflected the connection with the wine and also kept the connection with the simplicity mentioned. That’s why I used a sober color palette, representing the elegant part and including the wine color as a complement to create a unique brand.
For social media awareness, I created a strategy where we defined the content pillars, defined the niche, determined the voice and tone of the brand, and then created the content needed to promote awareness on the platform, in this case, Instagram.
