Brisbane Writers Festival

Festival identity for the Brisbane Writers Fest which included a logo, support graphics and guerrilla
marketing campaign. These elements were then applied to a festival brochure, website, and
billboard. The concept for the identity was ‘Read between the lines’ and the supporting imagery
was made up of popular literary characters incorporated into Rorschach paintings and the logo
incorporated a fountain pen. The guerrilla marketing campaign involved the projecting of said
paintings onto buildings in the South Bank cultural centre to create intrigue and hype around the
festival.
