This is the “before and after” of my own character!
More than 5 years ago, I created this 2D illustration (on the left) of a friendly clinical laboratory mascot. When I originally created him, he had the concept of being a superhero, of helping adults and children take care of their health.
The textures and cloth modeling, was made with precision and more closest to the real.
The hair was, surelly, the most hard part of this project. To make it real, to make feel like a real hair, I've spend so many hours to get this boy groomed hair. And all this, worth a lot to me.
Now, in 2023, the friendly mascot has its updated version and now in 3D! Textures, realistic hair and fully modeled and prepared for animation, containing a super light and practical mesh for videos and animations.
It was fun work and a lot of learning, where I had the pleasure of redoing and updating the art of a work I had created. I am extremely happy, because through this work I was able to see the path I am taking!
