The ‘Change is a Team Sport’ campaign was launched in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Adidas Superstar. It emphasizes the power of collaboration among creators to drive change and inspire others. Drawing parallels to the enduring legacy of the Adidas Superstar as a shoe for groundbreaking creators, the campaign seeks to identify contemporary change-makers who can inspire the next generation and continue the legacy of this iconic footwear.






Retail

A complete retail store design was executed for the adidas store at Scarborough Town Centre as part of the collaboration between adidas and Champs Sports. This design created a unified appearance for the store, incorporating nostalgic high school visuals that aligned with the campaign’s theme. Notably, it featured prominent elements like banners, trophies, and scoreboards, highlighting the campaign’s connection to sports and a retro aesthetic.






The Process

3D renders were crafted in Blender to visually convey the store’s design concepts. This approach enabled the development of custom elements like scoreboards and other unique design features.






Influencer Marketing

We leveraged influencer marketing as a component of our campaign strategy. To stay true to the theme, we sent influencers personalized mini-lockers, each containing a complete adidas kit and a pair of Superstar shoes. Their task was to film and share their reactions while unboxing these special packages.






Scotiabank Arena

An event at Scotiabank Arena was organized in support of the charity ProAction Cops & Kids. During the event, children had the unique opportunity to interact and play with NBA players. The kids were given the chance to select from four custom adidas Superstar-inspired T-shirt designs, which were then screen-printed on the spot, adding a personalized touch to the event.
