First it was a character to a game project in a School of Arts, but for personal reasons I cant' keep tha class.
its was brainstorm, then maybe change him design.
First Sketch
My first view was a Kitsune (that spiritual foxes that play jokes on people, japanese origin), a suspiciously, silly, curious and annoing male fox. So you ask about the Kitsune Mask "Why a Kitsune is dressed and with a KITSUNE MASK????"..... ancient people belive that a Kitsunes can transform themselves in any life form, including intelectual humans. They can be really dangerous, but wonderful too, the transformations are mainly to trick or ride, able to live more than 100 years, bad or good them are very inteligent.
"And about the mask??" okay, because of him mistery personality, the mask give the idea of "I question myself being". Sorry for my bad english... So, I have more sketchs but in tradicional way and cant scan or take a photo, he is lucky, hm?!
Line Up
Yes, now I have really a idea, but need some improve.. now with hair, strange clothes and a 'ball' to roll around, he is more fancy! And now he is like a Joker/Fool and a Kitsune dressed with a Kitsune Mask!!! Lol
"What's about that bomb at him feet??" - its not really a bomb, just a ancient pyrotechnic firework, inspired in bombs of the game Õkami (PS2), and it never explodes, is only for trick and to 'summon' easily embers [or Will-o'-the-Wisp]. He not is really evil, only love to fooland make confusion, with jokes, tasks and quizzes.

Colors
Now he look more agressive! Dump colors with a bit of red remind a hot temper, strong body or a bad guy.
Black and smooth hair like the Asians, fusion of kimono with joker clothes and a Kitsune Mask.. okay its going crazy.. The Red at mask was special, there to remenber the Inari foxes [the menssegers of a Shinto God, mainly Rice and Prosperity God], make it unless fearful (?), so him is no here to kill you anyway..
And the Firework had a Billiard Ball painting.

Now the last explainations, He is a weird, crazy, playful and mistery character, that wont harm anyone, but like to ask people what about they are really doing and if are sure about what them know about the world.
