Soul Cafe
Soul Cafe is a personal project that I worked on during COVID-19. It was a simple assignment that I did for Chinese writing class. I decided to translate it into Bahasa Indonesia and make it into an illustrated e-novel (Instagram story size). It took months to finish the project after lots of text proofing and composing.
The story is about Aeron - a grim reaper who works as a barista in his own cafe. His job is to make delicious drink for his "invisible" customers and fulfill their last wish before they cross to the afterlife. With his bossy little black cat - Aylin, both of them will fulfill Anna's last wish and reunite her with her loved one for one last time.

Illustration Style
The illustration style is heavily focused on shapes and linework. The consistent elements of each piece are glow effect and little sparkles. Overall, the style is inspired by vintage menu design with limited colours
