The definition of Stoic is a person who can endure pain or hardship without showing their feelings or complaining. 

Someone can be stoic in their photography, it shows scenes of ordinary life with no importance or emotion, yet there is still emotion in imagery even if you are trying to portray it without emotion.

I took pictures of a couple empty playgrounds. No children, no color, no emotion. Yet, you can still feel emotion from the imagery. That emotion is what the viewer feels when looking at it, maybe happiness from an empty playground that you have free reign of, maybe sadness that there are no children enjoying it. Stoicism shows no feelings, yet you can still feel them inside.
