A very interesting project! Thanks to NB for the freedom they gave us, and thanks to Tmall for accepting our proposal 🙏.
New Balance is a sport brand with a strong heritage (Running Since 1906)! The brand wants to convey the message of running from 1906 to the present year, 2023. Expressing this concept visually was quite challenging, so we had many ideas at first. Among them, we thought of a composition similar to the movie 'Inception,' an endless runway, running from the past to the present 🏃. The clothing and shoes worn by the characters in the illustration are all classic running shoes and outfits from New Balance's history.
The overall image aligns with our slogan, 'More than embracing running, run to discover yourself.' 不止迎接奔跑 更要跑出自我！
