As a strong supporter of LGBT rights, I did this project as volunteer work for the Bangalore Queer Film Festival '14 which was held in Alliance Francaise, Bangalore in the last weekend of February. 

 

My brief was to recreate the heartfelt letters sent to the Supreme Court by citizens of India which voiced dismay on the recriminalisation of homosexuality in India via Section 377. These letters were kept in a postbox at the film festival and were available for the public to read. Postcards with rainbow stamps were also made to allow the public to write more letters to the Supreme Court. Each letter was then suspended with colourful threads filling the verandah with the voice of Bangalore City.
