Forgotten Edges

Last fall I had a chance to visit one wonderful place - the neighborhood of the city of Kizel. This is a northern city, located in the mountains and quite remote from big cities and new skyscrapers

I don't know how to describe in words what tenderness and love for everything that surrounds me, I experienced when I happened to be here. There are places left untouched by man, contrasting with the places that man has shod for himself and left as a footprint on the ground, dusty with dirt and no longer needed by anyone

It was founded when fossil resources were found in this territory in the 18th century, and after this territory became Soviet, they saw a lot of potential in it and founded a lot of mines here, factories next to them, and whatever the workforce was, colonies.
But then the Soviets left, the mines and factories remained, and with them the people. Some people are still there, and most of them have already left, leaving behind everything they used to live with. Now there is a lot of drinking there - not surprising, because in general, there is nothing more for ordinary people to do here.

A lot of things happened in this place, which used to be hidden from human eyes. In just three centuries, people have ceased to need this place.
There are still concrete boxes with plaster that has collapsed for decades. But if you look a little further, through the window, you will see an endless forest..
