Music is my favorite source of inspiration and I love capturing artists which art inspires me!
"The Underground Youth" have had many permanent places in my playlists for many years. It was a real pleasure for me to have them in front of my cam during the Synästhesie-Festival in Berlin. We've managed to get into the venue before the doors were opened for public. I photographed Olya, Craig, Samira and Leo at various places in the Kulturbrauerei during rehearsals of other bands.
Once again, atmosphere was more important to me than technical perfection so I was just armed with two 35mm-Cameras (Yashica T3 and Yashica FX-D). I shot just two and half films, most of the pictures were taken with the T3 and were frontal flashed because of the lack of light and also to get the mood. The results are self-developed and scanned.
