Illustrator Guided Workbook Project

This project incorporated the following skills:

-Creating a folding template that meets production requirements

-Placing and managing links to external graphics and images, importing text and controlling the flow of text across multiple frames

-Working with styles to automate repetitive text-formatting tasks

-Correcting typographic problems, such as widows

-Checking for and correcting spelling errors

-Exporting PDF files of specific artboards for print

Created accurate templates for both sides of a folding brochure, checked and corrected spelling, adjust line spacing to correct widows, and worked with paragraph and character styles to format text

Applied hyphenation to correct a widow, formatted tabbed text for better readability, used styles to format text on multiple artboards, created links to a variety of external image and graphics files, and embedded illustrator files to access and change specific elements in the group
