Experimental Image Making

Cyanotype
The process uses two chemicals: ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide. These chemicals are mixed in equal parts then 1) coated onto paper, then the paper is dried. 2) Once it has dried, place whatever you want to print onto the paper (leaves, other plants, photo negatives, etc).3) The paper then needs to be left out in the sun, or under a UV light for a period of time. 4) Once exposed, the paper must then be washed and 5) hung to dry
Digital Negative Process
1) Convert Image to grayscale, 2) then invert the values, 3) then flip the image horizontally
Photocopying/Printing
The photocopier can be used to make collages, edit the colours on images and E-mail them to yourself.
Cyanotype print layered with pieces of scrap paper to make more abstract collage.
Photographic Joiners
Photographic joiners are like a collage, but are comprised of photographs taken in the same place and overlayed over each other to create an interesting effect.
