Writing is one of the strongest forms of communication. It’s how we’ve been able to keep most of the data before the information age.

Finidi Writes helps individuals, businesses and organisations with everything content writing. From creative writing, high-quality content writing for use across socials, web and digital platforms, LinkedIn profile writing and optimisation, keyword research, to audience specialisation and SEO optimisation.

Studio DJ was commissioned to work on a Logo and Visual Identity, in line with the team's new trajectory; serving bigger sized institutions, and they need to be perceived as a trustworthy content writing partner.

In providing a prolific solution, Studio DJ looked to represent the brand with a concept that was unique yet very relatable. The final Logo is inspired by the Quill, an ancient and veritable tool in the history of writing which was is dated to about 5,500 years ago. The approach taken in execution ensured that the final output was simple, modern and distinct from other brands. 

In creating a Visual Language for the brand, Studio DJ employed lines found around writers and their processes, communicating the brand's commitment to creative and result-oriented writing. "The Flow" which is usually formed by a pen or quill is used as a complementary element in juxtaposition with type and photography in various layouts and brand touch points. In addition, lines of a modern day notebook were employed as background patterns. 

Studio DJ gave Finidi Writes a Visual identity that’s equipped for expansion and adaptability, clearly articulating the writing firm’s new trajectory and position to better serve their target market.
