This was the sound design work I did as part as the overall development of "ETTIOS", a game our studio, Impossible Games, was contracted to make.

Here we can see and hear the different custom audio (music & sfx) layers working alongside the gameplay.

Unity engine demo with sound layering logic also implemented by me (boost layer only when boosting)
In the final game, there are 4 main audio layers:
- Space Ambient Music
- Electronic Song 
- Engine Sound
- Engine Boosting Sound
Space Ambient Music
This is the baseline "sound" of space I imagined for this section.
Ship Engine Sound
This is the "engine running" layer of the sound. This, in turn, was achieved with extensive layering and panning of sounds to achieve a full and complex sound.
Ship Boosting Sound
This is the "power ramp up" sound, that triggers when the player boosts at any given time.
In engine, the game manages when to enter and exit this audio layer, and I designed the audio with that in mind from the start.
Project Layers
Most of the layers and processing in action, in DAW.
*clipping is due to cpu tax in recording, not present in final audio
Short Synthwave Song
A quick, fun electronic song to lead the sequence.
