Iceland - winter 2019

Die Wasserfälle Islands sind einfach ein liebstes Fotomotiv. Oftmals fallen Bäche und Flüsse im freien Fall hohe Felskanten hinunter - frei von jeglichem Bewuchs (außer Flechten und Moose) in dieser kargen Landschaft. Hier dominieren die Formationen und der farbige Glanz des Vulkangesteins.

Es ist die Reduzierung, die das Bild beruhigt und so attraktiv werden lässt.

Es ist schon eine sehr faszinierende Landschaft dort! Und an diesem Tag kam auch mal kurz die Sonne raus, so dass die wenigen Farben umso intensiver wirken konnten.

Iceland's waterfalls are simply a favorite photo motif. Streams and rivers often fall freely down high cliff edges - free of any vegetation (except lichen and moss) in this barren landscape. The formations and the colorful sheen of the volcanic rock dominate here.

It is the reduction that calms the picture and makes it so attractive.

It is a very fascinating landscape there! And on this day the sun came out briefly, so that the few colors could appear all the more intense.
