Throw Like a Girl

Every morning, I throw things.
On our way to school, we throw rocks.
We throw as hard as we can.
When it's my turn to throw, the rock does not go far.
The other kids throw rocks very far.
The other kids say I throw like a girl.
My cousin says, “To throw far, you have to pretend.”
In the evenings, my cousin and I practice throwing rocks.
I throw the rocks and pretend to hit the top of the trees.
I throw the rocks and pretend to hit the stars.
I throw the rocks and pretend to hit the moon.
Every morning, I throw things.

I throw a rock and I hit spaceships in the sky.
