This is student work for my creature design course. It's my first attempt at a stylized creature model. The Sprout is a plant familiar created by pixies when they enchant seeds. The design took some inspiration from Japanese tree spirits, with the intent to look both cute and spooky.
Modeled in Maya, textured in Mudbox, and rendered with Arnold Renderer.
