PHOTO EDITING: WHAT'S ART?

Is the bullfight considered Art? This is a subject that turns out to be very controversial since there are different and opposite opinions. There are people who think it actually is, and there are some others that think that it is definitely not.

COCA-COLA HALLOWEEN

This graphic was designed for Coca-Cola Peruvian Facebook fanpage, in order to celebrate a special day as Halloween. The idea was to use specific characteristics of three different and representative main characters of three horror films, in order to make the Coca-Cola bottles look like they were these characters situated in front of a scary scenario. Because of rights matter this piece could not be posted on the fanpage of the brand, but still it was fun to create it.​​​​​​​






THE COCA-COLA FLAVOR

This is a contest result design for Bolivia’s audience of a campaign called “The Coca-Cola Flavor”, which was displayed online and in this country's Coca-Cola Facebook fanpage. As you can see the piece captures the Coca-Cola essence by using its brands colors and shapes.





PHOTO RETOUCHING - CARICATURES

These are some caricatures of random characters that were put under the Photoshop software. They are a good example of what this software can do, since they show how several filters and specially the liquify tool, can distort a picture turning it into a person's caricature.  As you can see, the liquify option is a very fun and versatile tool that Photoshop has for you to play with.






OH L'AMOUR
"THE COLORS OF LOVE"

These pieces belong to my Graphic Design Degree Thesis project named "Oh L'Amour", which was a lingerie online store dedicated to a homosexual target. The reason why we decided to focus on this target, was because we found it very interesting and rich since it was going to be placed in the peruvian market, which is one of the most conservative, religious and discriminative societies of Latin America. So this became a big challenge for us. We also had to be very careful with how we would communicate our brand, approach to our target and sell our products.
