Starting with a simple idea: to create and publish a series of books that are developing educational topics. What better beginning for a series, I figured, than the reason why we can do this: The Light. Being the light of the sun or the one of the moon, electricity or fire sourced, the light played a vital role in every human activity, materialising matter before our very eyes - or more correctly expressed: making matter visible and thus real to our minds.
This book though is "under construction" so to speak. Its final stage couldn't be reached due to lack of time and other resources so, I decided to build it in 3 editorial stages. We reached the 2023 edition, the second one, which contains work on the topic from all over the world, both visual arts and writing with a few surprises included which are as well to be enhanced in the next and hopefully final edition.
Meanwhile, every passionate about this subject who has completed work tackling this theme or is planning to create something as soon as the end of 2024, is invited to submit their work. It may be artwork, photography or writing but also music, performance acts and other completed complex artistic work related to this theme, "The Sun and the Moon" or simple single-themed works as "The Sun" or "The Moon". If you have a book written on this subject you are invited to let me know about it and get it listed in the reading suggestions on the topic.
