This year the FTA wanted somthing that didn't look like "taxes". So this year I tryied the approach of nothing referencing money, government, or TAXES. Clean and colorfully bold. That is the direction I went.
FTA is a Tax Association, boring, maybe from the outsider perspective. The cool thing with this client is they let me design whatever I happen to be feeling - with little push back. SO I tend to try things I am experimenting with in Illustrator and Photoshop. Nothing earth shattering just fun stuff.
