a conceptual product design
For this project, I was tasked with creating a product series based off a favorite fictional character. This project required three separate packages that connect through a common theme while relating back to the chosen character. For my character, I chose Detective Lassiter from the tv show, Psych. For my product, I chose to create a zen box series titled Calm Pursuits with three themes: Peaceful Tranquility, Ocean Breeze, and Forest Escapes. Each box features a unique blend of aromas, providing customers with a unique list of calming benefits. In addition, the product and each theme's aromas relate back to struggles Detective Lassiter has faced throughout the tv show, Psych.
Each box will feature two essential oils, two candles, two small bags of zen garden sand, and a zen garden rake. In addition, each box with have a small envelope with a thank you card, instructions card, and informational cards about each oil. Each product in each box will exhibit Calm Pursuit's branding in the color palette of the relating theme.
