At the seaside, twilight is variously referred to as sailing twilight or nautical twilight, and it lasts the same amount of time as the commonly called twilight.
Similarly, it is still light all over the world for two hours after sunset.
These two hours, especially in summer, allow us to enjoy landscape features before complete darkness sets in.
Interestingly, a phenomenon with a similar name also occurs in medicine and is described as the setting sun syndrome.
It is a neurological phenomenon that affects people with Alzheimer's disease.
Most often, it manifests itself in the form of fear, anxiety, visual and auditory hallucinations.
