This project presents the united designs of a poster and three social media posts for a fictional event. These designs are meant to advertise a garden tea party event, titled Tea in the Tulips. Below, I will explain my design decisions in more detail.

The designs are tied together in the use of colors, fonts, and imagery. Soft pinks and elegant fonts give this event a feminine air, which helps to draw in the target audience. Additionally, the theme of the event is creatively communicated through the title of the event and the image on the poster to maintain interest and avoid mundane or overused ideas. The event information is also presented in an understandable manner, while not competing for attention with the title.

I am altogether pleased with the way that this project turned out. However, no project is without its shortcomings. A few areas that I am disappointed in are the photoshopping of the petals and organization of the event information on the poster, as well as the lack of tea-related imagery on the social media posts. Despite its imperfections, this project does fulfill its intended purpose and for the most part stands out as a strong example of graphic design.
