Initially I researched the symbolism behind every color of rose and the parts of roses. The symbolism behind red roses had the most significance and since they are the most common that is the direction I followed for my concept board and collection.

The concept board was inspired by the passionate and loving nature of red roses. Red roses have significant deeper meaning that I was able to illustrate on this concept board and in my collection.

The fabrics I pulled for this collection are symbolic of the sleek and elegant nature of roses. The details for the garments are all inspired in their own way by either roses themselves or the symbolism behind roses.

The final collection is a simple yet still extravagant collection of garments that were inspired by the research and concept board.
