After entering the peachtober challenge for the first time last year, I decided to participate this year as well. Peachtober is a variation of the infamous inktober challenge where you make a drawing each day during the month October.
I decided to participate to focus on making more art, but also to push my creativity with prompts I normally don't use in my art. Unfortunately I could only participate a few days as I was busier than I thought. Despite that, I made 6 illustrations where I feel like I did experiment and pushed myself. So even though I didn't fully participate in the challenge, I do think I reached my goal :)
All the pieces were drawn using the same palette of 6 colours. By overlaying the layers I got a larger variety, but I still used the same 6 colours.
Besides pushing my creativity with the prompts, I wanted to challenge myself with the colours as my colour use is very characteristic in my work. The color palette was a bit different than my usual palette with the prominent green and darker blue. Despite the changes, I feel like the illustrations are still very characteristic of my work and will definitely be used in the future :)
