"A wildfire, forest fire, bushfire, wildland fire or rural fire is an unplanned, uncontrolled and unpredictable fire in an area of combustible vegetation. With the rise in climate change, they have only run more rampant, raging across countries and burning away the lives of families and natural habitats."
After researching into the effects of climate change and deciding to focus my studies on wildfires, I sourced an article and, once having highlighted the main aspects of the story, created an editorial illustration to accompany it.
For this project, we were tasked with designing a suitable illustration for an article we chose ourselves, all to do with various themes throughout climate change. I decided on the topic of wildfires, and designed my logo out of inspiration from the mythological titan Atlas.
