Project #6 Figure Ground
Figure ground refers to how we perceive objects to differentiate the main thing we are looking at from the background. In this project we were given different themes (Curvilinear, Rectilinear and Recognizable) to create different compositions with. We used just straight lines for one, curvy lines for another and different shapes for another. My pieces are a city skyline in both night and day, the infinity sign made of multiple wisps and a cat creating the shape of a fish with it's tail.
