The Streets at Night

The Corner of York St
The corner on York street in Downtown Toronto, I have never seen this road without any traffic. I had the feeling of just wanting to get this photo with the signs and the traffic that was up ahead.
Web Cable
As a child I always used to think that the TTC Bus cables reminded me of spider webs. At night with all the lights I felt it complemented the cables and made them add some colour to it.
NIght at Graffiti Alley
At Graffiti Alley there was an area that lit up very nicely and made all the graffiti around it pop. Trying to make my model turn more into a silhouette so the audience could look more at the graffiti.
Mirrored lights
The way the lights were reflecting on the metal sign made this photo pop out to me. Putting the photo in long exposure made it so that the lights became more like lines and made the cars into a motion blur effect.
A Night Walk Down Bremner Blvd
During this shot it felt like to me that because of the rain and since it was taken later in the day it gave a brighter look to it. With how the lights reflect off the wet asphalt it really attracted my eyes to it.
Boston in Toronto
On Front Street having not taken the whole picture of the Boston Pizza sign made me come up with this funny name.
Go on Green
Watching the cars headed North are stopped because of all of the red lights up ahead. While the cars headed East and West are able to move on green.
Hotmail
With the side of the hotdog stand only showing the product name with the mail boxes beside it. With the lights of the buildings in the background turned on, it really gave a nice finish to the photo
Open all Night
Looking at how late we were out the hotdog stand was still open thinking when do they actually close. I like how there are actually little food stands on the corners of the roads that give a nice feel.
Reality is an Illusion
At the theatre there are many things that don’t happen like they do in real life. I wanted to show that even if there are things that are not real I do not mean that we can’t enjoy them.
Monopoly Emergency
With the go sign which reminded me of the board game monopoly and the ambulance rushing to the emergency. Using a long exposure technique to capture the ambulance lights to create a duo colour line of light.
The Tron Transition
With how the lights are lined up it gave a Tron style look to it. With the lights on Yonge St transitioning from red to green.
