Книга посвящена здоровью опорно-двигательного аппарата с точки зрения восточной медицины. Передо мной стояла задача создать иллюстрации к книге, а также придумать дизайн и сверстать её.
The book is dedicated to the health of the musculoskeletal system from the perspective of Eastern medicine. My task was to create illustrations for the book, as well as conceptualize its design and layout.
Важно было показать, как чувствует себя пациент в ходе лечения.
It was important to depict how patients feel during the course of treatment.
Создавая иллюстрации, я старалась следовать принципу минимализма и направить внимание читателя на ощущения, не отвлекая его изобилием деталей. Фигуры и лица максимально упрощены, на мой взгляд благодаря этому каждый может ассоциировать себя с изображенными людьми.
While crafting the illustrations, I aimed to adhere to the principle of minimalism, directing the reader's focus towards sensations without overwhelming them with excessive detail. Figures and faces were simplified to allow anyone to relate themselves to the depicted individuals.
Цветовая палитра чистая и спокойная, я провела параллель с медициной, стерильностью и, разумеется, здоровьем. Землистые и солнечные оттенки, напротив, разрушают ассоциацию с традиционной медициной в пользу альтернативной.
The color palette was clean and calm, subtly evoking associations with medicine, sterility, and, of course, health. Earthy and sunny tones, on the other hand, disrupted the association with traditional medicine in favor of an alternative approach.
Для того чтобы подчеркнуть ощущения и эмоций, которые испытывает пациент, я выделила разницу между органическими формами иллюстрации и агрессивными, заостренными акцентами.
To emphasize the sensations and emotions experienced by the patient, I accentuated the contrast between the organic forms of the illustration and aggressive, sharpened accents.
При работе с типографикой я опиралась, в первую очередь, на его читабельность и безопасность для глаз, а также на его геометричность.
When working with typography, I relied primarily on its readability and eye safety, as well as its geometric aspects.
