A revamped version of a well-known story and dance from Terengganu, called "Ulek Mayang," tells the story of one of seven princesses. In this story, the seventh princess, Mayang Chindai, takes a fisherman's soul, but they later make amends through a special dance. This dance symbolizes peace between the worlds of land and sea. In the modern version, the story unfolds after the incident, where Mayang Chindai (another addition character), initially seen as the bad character, faces punishment and is sent away to a distant land by her father.
