Training Development: Train Operation Procedure Video
This is a video training development project that I worked on together with the final research assignment of the Educational Technology bachelor program at the State University of Jakarta. At that time, I completed an internship at PT MRT Jakarta and also got a valuable opportunity to conduct research and development. This research was finally approved with the title “Train Operation Procedure for Train Driver at PT MRT Jakarta”.

This development is motivated by the need for video training for Train Drivers at PT MRT Jakarta to overcome the problem of limited space and time. For safety, Train Drivers are required always to follow the mandatory training program that is scheduled periodically and continuously. The program also has a role as a refreshment for Train Drivers. The dense schedule that is not the same (shift system), the limited presence of trainers, to the problem of place, make this video must be expedited in the process.

In this development, I use the non-linear video development model by Pustekkom which consists of three big stages with three small stages in each of these stages.
Based on the needs and materials that have been designed in the form of syllabus, GBIM (outline of media content), and JM (material breakdown). The training video is divided into 3 main stages, namely: preparation stage, departure stage, and return to depot stage. Each of these main stages has sub-materials that I then divide into several parts of video clips, or what is commonly referred to in the term educational technology as “Chungking”. Of course, I cannot explain and inform in detail the material because it is a company secret that needs to be maintained together.

Below are some snippets that I can show as evidence.
