I hate 6, is the first draft for the cover of the zine, The cover for the zine is illustrated with a bold graphic number which is related to the protagonist of the zine. Taking inspiration from that incident, This was just a trial for the cover and is not the final cover for the zine.
The zine revolves around, illustrated incidents that took place during school days, including vivid memories of conversations, gossips, learnings, achievements, bullying, body shaming, traumatic experiences, etc. It aims to give a wider perspective on the life of kids during school times, when they are around their peers, especially queer kids; kids from the LGBTQIA+ community, about how they get treated by their classmates and other friends, and how that treatment affects them.
It aims to bring out the tiniest of the incidents that affect a queer kid and the things, everyone should be aware of, and the things that should not happen to such kids within the protected walls of their foundation; their schools and coaching classes. It highlights why these kids refrain from telling their problems and insecurities to their families about the places where their families think they are protected .
The series of the illustrations, based on the other incidents that happened / happens during school, are ongoing and will be completed soon. It will aim to bring a valuable lesson for the kids who go through such incidents and parents who are unaware of these incidents which their child is afraid of speaking about.
