Laugh Please is a survival pixel art 2.5D with isometric camera
Players find themselves immersed in a unique world where Laughter transcends its traditional role and is treated as a valuable resource, mirroring the importance assigned to money. 
This game was created in the Global Game Jam 2024, where I took the rol of Game Designer.

CREATIVE PROCESS 
During this project, I served as both a game and narrative designer. I conceptualized and developed the mechanics along with the core loops that would shape the gameplay experience.

DECIDING WHAT THE GAME WAS ABOUT
The process involved a structured brainstorming session with the team, followed by a meticulous filtration of options to clarify and refine the concept, and then a reference process for both art and mechanics.
GAME CORE LOOPS
Then I started to create the game core loop and the gameplay flow. I wanted it to be simple, so I made it easy to read. Also, I worked alongside with UI/UX team to create the UI flow.
LEVEL DESIGN
For level design, I crafted the map and incorporated the necessary assets and enemies strategically to guide players along the intended route we wanted them to follow.
SETTING UP THE CAMERA
Then, we needed to decide which perspective we wanted the game to have. I worked alongside the tech artist to set the camera in the right position and avoid collision with other objects.
PRODUCTION
Finally, I made a list of assets that we needed, and a diagram with deadlines that should be done by the time it says on there. This was because we needed to optimize some time.
