Marcello is an Italian restaurant, located in Mexico city in the heart of colonia roma.
For the brand strategy of this project, we got inspired by Federico Fellini’s movies, his surrealism, the characters and the mid-century design. Marcello is named after Marcello Mastroianni (Fellini’s actor). We wanted to portray a vintage, playful and yet classical “dolce vita” look to the branding.
