Opening Ceremony FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014

The Opening Ceremony was a tribute of the most appreciated treasures of Brazil, namely: nature, people, and football.
A praise to Brazil, portraying its exuberant nature, its joyful people and its contagious football, all treasures of this vast country. The centre theme of the ceremony was an enormous LED ball set in the middle of the pitch, which displayed images that reflected these three elements.
The show was articulated on five moments, without intermission, for a total duration of 25 minutes, plus a 15 minutes preset:
Artistic Preset:
showed all scenic characters and props located on projected colorful curves in the pitch of protection. Stage and wings merge providing an unique and spectacular experience.
Kick-off – welcome message from the central LED ball with the syncronized cuicas countdown, followed by a Kabuki theatre curtain effect.
