Why a Jigsaw puzzle?
I chose to do a jigsaw puzzle for many reasons. Mainly, It is because it allows people who come into contact with it to engage with the images and become immersed, promoting relaxation and a state of mindfulness.
When it comes to art therapy, a main idea in my project, assembling a jigsaw puzzle is a method that can be deeply therapeutic. Both sides of the brain are engaged, moving concentration away from worries over to relaxation, stress relief and thoughtfulness. Fitting pieces of the puzzle back together act as a way for the person to put themselves back together mentally, coming closer to inner peace.

This was just a quick paper print to see an idea of how my final piece in this aspect would look like. Though basic, it really did give me confidence that this would work!
The website I am going to use to print the final piece is "PrinterPix". It is said to print with "HD precision technology, ensuring crispness, resolution, and vibrancy are maintained". This has reassured that my images will retain their quality and tranquil aspects through the translation to a printed outcome.
